Heavy Duty CB Antenna Stud Mount Adapter Copper Nickel Plated with SO-239 Connector for Mounting 3/8 x 24 Threads CB HAM Radio Antennas

Bought this connector to mount a ham radio HF hamstick to my vehicle using a vehicle roof mag mount. I only use the mount while the vehicle is parked ... not moving, so I can't review how well this would/could hold up while traveling. For my use, this was a good buy. The mag mount came with an SO-239 connector, so I ended up needing a PL-259 to PL-259 adapter to connect the two together. Not bad, but it does sit a bit high on the mount because of it. I'm happy with this and give me portable HF capability without needing to string up a wire in a tree (that may or may not be there ...).

Sturdy mounts for mobile ham stick antennas mounted to my SUV. Quick install and easy removal when not in use.

Quick disconnect for Hustler Masr was bought to connect antenna to Honda trailer hitch receiver as an experiment. Does work with mast but is not stable alone. Mast needs support near resonators at top. Might work with heavy ball mount with 3 screws to provide stiffer connection. This disconnect is less expensive than the Hustler and needed to open the rear door of the SUV.
