SO WHATEVER YOUR STYLE, GET A TAPE MEASURE AND MEASURE IN INCHES AROUND THE PART OF YOUR BODY WHERE YOU WANT THE WAISTBAND TO SIT. THEN MATCH IT WITH SIZES. OUR SIZES ARE PRETTY CLOSE to EXACT. IF IT SAYS THE SKIRT IS 38" or 45" or 53" etc. around the waistband, then we try our best to make sure that is what it is. The VELCRO CLOSURE will give you a little adjustment for comfort
