Goodbye, Eri

I like this manga; it made me laugh, twists that I didn't call coming were good and I got a little teary eyed at moments. I got this because I loved Look Back and I'm glad I did.

This is a good book it’s a little sad but there is some comedic relief sprinkled in. Fujimoto is PEAK

Didn't know what to think at first. It's different from anything else I've read. It's more like a book written like a movie, kinda clever. The story is a bitter sweat ,but this is one of my favorites.

I was a bit skeptical about it, but I really enjoyed this story. The art and composition of each page is wonderful.

Exaggerated drama, a little twisted, a little morbid. Gave it a try, found it "ok", but easy to read. BUT The writing was solid. Good art. Characters developed (it ~is a Character piece, not really a traditional story). Pacing was slow but appropriate for the style, and the ending had me thinking after closing the book. A notable point in the character writing is that many styles of Japanese ..... templates? ... dont always translate well in the west and can be hard to take serious. But while a bit over saturated, the characters were quite comfotable to follow and I think it tells what it wanted to. I dont regret reading it, and there is an audience for this that should read it. EDIT - Im been trying to describe the feel for it, and I kinda want to say its like a morbid Wes Anderson story.

Absolutely amazing book, something I love that I haven't seen media of other kind do is blur the lines in-between pages of what's real or fake, would buy again if it meant for me to read it again for the first time!
