Manga books seem to be the 'book of choice' for young teenagers. My daughter has enjoyed watching the Anime series and started the School Briefs 1-5 books for reading sessions. School Briefs are not manga (comic style) books but are novels which give a little bit more depth to the characters. She has finished School Briefs and has now decided to read these manga books. She enjoys them and actively asks for the next copy when finished, so they must be a good enough read for a 12 year old. For parents who are like me and not so clued up, the Manga series are not so suitable for English reading classes and a teenager will likely get through this in a night - for my daughter, this is more of a collection item. The quick read of these means it's not going to be cheap. A single book cost me £7, I have been buying 2 per week and have now told my daughter that we will need to find a more cost effective way of reading. A longer novel for school and these manga books purely for home. If you are buying this on behalf of your child, make sure you are buying the correct book, as there are so many. Also bare in mind, the binding on Japanese books are opposite to our western style. Books are printed right to left. The plot, she says, is very good and has had her gripped. The art work deserves absolute praise and allows the story flows well. Overall, I would rate these as a 5 star for the entertainment it provides. These are collectable and that also makes them desirable.

I liked-No-LOVED the story arc and characters , it bring a great depth of lure (idk how to spell it) into the story ! Honestly , the only thing I didn’t like was the fact that all might would k I n d a show off. I would recommend this book to a LOT of viewers before watching the anime , it’s a great story and has more secrets you wouldn’t find in the anime Overall, I loved it and I hope you keep producing this kind of books!

I originally just wanted the first volume to check how it compares to the anime. Love it. 100% pristine condition. I’ve currently watched all the anime and movies there is, so naturally loving the show, I wanted to try the manga. I heard that it was very fast paced and indeed it is, it’s a nice decent read and is very fast paced. But what makes it 5 star for me is all the little notes the author includes! It’s really adorable to see the behind the scenes, and their own opinions. It’s nice to know they enjoyed sculpting it as much as I enjoy reading it. Certainly buying a few more volumes!

I think this is a great manga! overall the plot, story, and character's are amazing, and if your looking for a new manga to read this is a good one to start with.
