Faithfull 8 Pocket Suede Leather Chisel Roll

I use this for my working Chisels. A good quality and well worth the money. Keeps the tool bag nice and tidy and helps to keep the edge on my Chisels. Well recommended.

Really a very decent thickness of leather, I would have appreciated double stitching but at the price point I dont have any real complaints at all. More than happy and will likely serve me for many years.

I got this after had a look at several other options and decided that, for the price, this was worth a punt. Pleasantly surprised about the quality of the leather which is soft but thick. The roll looks well made and the flap keeps my chisels in place and prevents them falling out. The strap and buckle looks ok but if it fails it wouldn't be an issue to replace with a tie instead. The only reason this doesn't get five stars is the stitching for the tool slots - the stitches go across the mouth of every other slot and given that my chisels are pretty sharp it is almost impossible to not cut the stitches when putting chisels into the slots. Ideally the slot dividers would have been double-stitched so that rather than going up-across-down-across-up etc. they went up-down-across-up-down-across etc. This would have added extra durability to the dividers and prevented chisels cutting the stitching. It's a minor gripe but one that will affect the longevity of the roll.

Looks great and is made from good quality leather. I expect this to last a long time. Also the secruring strap is leather and long enough even when full of chisels.

helps keep everything tidy

I bought this for storing my new chisels. It is well sewn, riveted at stress points, has a quality buckle and provided it doesn't get nicked like the last one, should last me out. You need to "train" it into shape the first few times you roll it up with the chisels, and then it remembers its shape. The suede seems tough and looks good. Will fit 8 (or 9 really, as end pocket is quite wide) standard chisels, up to 1' long. I keep the chisel guards that come with the chisels in the roll, but it would probably be fine without.

De beiteltas van Faithfull Quality tools is van slechte kwaliteit! De beitels kunnen niet met beschermingskapje in de tas geplaatst worden en zonder de beschermingskapjes snijd de beitel de stiksels door! Verder is de riem van een dusdanige kwaliteit dat deze al na een aantal keren doormidden breekt! Jammer heb mijngeld weggegooid! Heb een aantal klinknagels op de randen moeten plaatsen om de beitels in de tas te behouden tijdens transport en heb de gebroken riem moeten vervangen met een oude broekriem.
