Brilliant idea
Loved this, used it for a while school assembly. 200 children in a circle holding hands and it worked!! The children loved it and learned about what conducts electricity and what doesn't.

Fun time Energy Stick
My 14 year old grandson enjoyed playing with it and he will I am sure show his friends so quite novel gadget for that (what should we get him) type of gift. I think it will have a novel effect for few Months at the most and then hardly used I would suspect one of those things maybe to bring out occasionally.

Varying quality
I have purchased 3 of these. The first worked as expected. The second worked for two days but then failed. The third works just fine. Children in class love them.

non-existent quality control
Normally am a little more forgiving but in this instance can only give one star. It came swiftly as usual with prime, however, was not in working condition. It came with entirely dead batteries so now I have to run and get new button batteries. This is acceptable for cheap direct orders from China, but not in this instance. It even has a "test me" field cut out in the carton so do not understand how this can be sent as it would have taken less than a second to see if it's working. Production cost must be a few cents, so am sure the seller makes a rather good gross margin. Enough for this not to happen. Frustrated as this was supposed to be a little gift to my nephew when I see him next.
