Beware if your device power/volume keys/headphone jack are aide mounted when device is held landscape!
This is an initial review, having unboxed and applied a small charge to the battery. This review is a warning to anyone wishing to use this with an Kindle Fire or any device that has power and or volume keys (and headphone jack) that are mounted on the side when the device is held in landscape. When the device is held by the controller, the grip pushes against these buttons (blocking access to headphone jack or preventing access to R1). This results in either the device powering down or the volume moving to either max. or mute. Rotating the device 180° does not resolve this.A solution would be to provide an insert (there is room within the recessed area) to take pressure off the keys.As it stands, this is a design flaw, which should be highlighted in the description.I'm about to test this unit with my HTC M11 for which I have higher expectations (though once more the headphone jack is side mounted when held landscape).Sadly, I may have to return this controller

An awful product.
An absolutely awful product, terrible quality, buttons rattle and feel cheap. COnnected to my devices once then ceased to connect after a few minutes of use. DOES NOT work with iOS and only emulates a keyboard when connecting to my iPad (2017). Will be returning for a refund. Also unsure why the reviews for this product have been bundled with the reviews for a completely different product (a PS4 Screen) the good reviews from the other product mislead me into purchasing this.

Inaccurate description
When I bought this the description clearly stated it would work with my iPad and iPhone. Not the case at all since the standard changed. It’s essentially completely useless to me now.

Makes gaming with a phone far more comfortable and brings a new element to small screen gaming
The first thing I noticed after pulling this out of its box was that it’s really two controllers in one. You have the D Pad set up which is used on so many game console controllers plus there are the two joystick thumb controllers that are also found on other game controllers. No matter what your favourite is you have it on this device. As the name states, it really does telescope out and allow anything from an iPod to iPad, cell phone to Galaxy Tab. The mechanism for holding onto your device allows it to be centred on any size screen as well. Once in place the flip out tab located at the bottom of the centre piece (can been seen in the seller’s image above) keeps the phone or tablet from sliding down while left and right sides are securely held. The whole device is comfortable to use. The left and right handles are well molded and fit nicely. All of the buttons and controls are smooth. In addition to the buttons you see in the images, each side also has two fire (or whatever you map them for) buttons located at the top side where your index finger naturally sits.No matter what sized of device is placed in it the whole thing is lined up so that viewing the display is easy, it’s a well thought out controller.Pairing is a breeze. There is no dedicated power button. By depressing the “B” button and then the “Home” button the device can be powered on/off. The first time its powered up it automatically goes into pairing mode, consecutive pairings can be done by holding the button combination till the orange LED located at the top left point starts flashing.Charging takes about 2 hours and the kids get approximately a week’s use out of one charge, this works out to roughly 1 1/2 - 2 hours per day. The controller can be charged while in use, the USB micro cable plugs into the bottom left hand side which brings the cable towards you when in use.The crescent of buttons located near the bottom of the right hand controller allow for controlling audio functions, volume, play/pause, forward/backward. This is a nice touch as with some devices once they are inserted into the controller their buttons can be hard to get at.We found that not all of the games were controller capable but for the ones that are the device was easily configured. Even when simply used in a driving game its far more comfortable to use than just holding the phone or tablet, but if a game can use a controller it really takes thing up a few notches.
