Brilliant product
Great for converting the DVI-D monitor cable to an HDMI input to a compatible monitor. No drop in picture quality. Ideal for MAC or PC. I have read that there is extreme bandwidth reduction, well I am using a 4k display and I am getting full resolution.Folks remember there are a few types of DVI connections. see images please check you connection before you buyDVI-D ( this one )

Perfect for Cintiq 22HD
Bought this to connect my new Wacom Cintiq 22HD to my laptop as I didn’t have any DVI or VGA ports, only HDMI. Works like a charm with no issues as of yet! Feels like a very sturdy cable and was recommended by a friend who used to work in tech.Update: Over a year later and I now use a desktop PC, the adapter still works perfectly!

If you need this, this one's great value.
Needed to plug an Apple Cinema Display into a Mac Mini computer. This cable plugs into to the HDMI port on the Mac and the DVI cable from the power brick of the Cinema Display plugs into the DVI end of the adapter. Job done. Good, sturdy cable adapter with secure fittings at a very reasonable price. Happy bunny, me

perfect product
I needed this to change a dvi output of a laptop dock to hdmi, to connect to an hdmi port on a screen.Works perfectly.It's bi-directional too so should work the other way, if you had a dvi on the screen and wanted to connect to hdmu on a laptop. I don't have dvi on my screen so can't test this though. Many adapters out there are only 1 way so something to watch out for.I would highly recommend.
