Easy to use.
First time using this type of product. As I am new to using this type of product and casting metals, I don't have experience with other brands. However, my project went very well, and I found this easy to use. I had some fine detail work to bring out on a military challenge coin, and the final product was very satisfactory.

This is what you want for details.
This sand is what you really want for details. All my old petrobond were kind of coarse. I wanted my castings to look more finished. Finer sand really makes a difference in your resulting casting. Of course, your end result really depends on thee quality of your pattern, and packing the sand well. Some of the patterns I used are 3d prints, and the detail of the casting clearly showed all the thin layer lines. It's exactly what the pattern looked like, and that's what you really want. Obviously, if you don't want the layer lines, you have to prepare the pattern better. That's another topic entirely though.Fine detail sand. Use it. You'll like it.
