This is practically identical to the Hoover one I’ve owned for many years. It’s been tweaked slightly since becoming Vax, the floor head is more manoeuvrable which is good. However the attachments for hand held are as useless as previously and I never used them! It’s too heavy to use hand held and easier to use a spray and cloth for most things. This version doesn’t even have as many attachments as old model, should you want to use them! Having said that it works really well on my kitchen, bathroom and conservatory floors and cheaper than many other models.

This mop leaves the floor super clean and gets the job done. No hassle, it’s quick to heat up too. It’s lightweight, possibly lighter than a traditional mop.I like that there’s no waste. You can wash the mop head over and over and keep reusing it.You can use as a handheld device, which I used to clean a super scaley shower head. It did a brilliant job and saved replacing it. I also have used the small brush between tiles which worked well. There’s an upholstery attachment which I haven’t used yet.You don’t use detergent with it, but I usually splash some floor cleaner on the floor to make it smell good.Great product overall and I would recommend.

This steam mop is absolutely excellent for the cost. Comes with absolutely every attachment you would need. Easy to separate into a handheld. Does a great job of the hard floors without the need for any kind of detergent. Lightweight. Gets hot enough to handle ingrained dirt. We have just had a wall plastered and our floor was covered in plaster dust. The Vax cleaned it all away in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommended. The only tiny downside is that it only comes with one pad so I will need to buy spares for when it’s is in the washer.

Disappointing Longevity – Not Worth the Hassle or moneyThe first unit broke down after only about 7 months of use. I contacted Vax, and to their credit, they sent me a replacement fairly quickly.However, the second unit didn’t even last a full year. It broke down just after the original 1-year warranty expired (based on the initial purchase), so I was left with a faulty product and no support.The main issues I encountered were:• No steam coming out at all, despite water being in the tank• The unit would randomly stop working completelyIt seems reliability is a major problem with this model. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something long-lasting or dependable.

Bought mainly for cleaning the kitchen floor. Although very light, almost flimsy, it cleans the rough surface of our porcelain tiles well. As a hand-held steam cleaner I found it very heavy and awkward to manoeuvre (I ‘m left handed) the squeegee in particular. It wasn’t much good on our not very dirty oven, better on the oven racks, brilliant on the extractor fan cover but left surfaces wet and pretty murky. Cleaned the cooker top and mirrored backsplash quite well but left it very wet.Bought quite a cheap version but shan’t upgrade as I’d intended. It’s OK to use on tiled floors but heavy as a hand held and can be awkward to use.

Just perfect! Cleans perfectly. It’s very lightweight. I wish that i bought this earlier. Highly recommended

Good quality product. Easy enough to assemble and works like a charm. It does leave the floors wet but dries up in a few minutes. It's my first time using a steam mop so I can't compare bit I'm happy with the cleaning I got to do with this.
