Transcend Multifunctional Card Reader ,with a SD and microSD card slot and a USB connector USB 3.1 Gen 1 ,Black- TS-RDF5K

This item is a god send...when you think of the card readers of a few years back that cost an earth and sometimes worked if you were lucky this item really fits the bill perfectly.From several different memory cards a few years back we now seem to be getting to a point where SD and Micro SD and much more the norm in both Tablets, Phones and Cameras. As result wanted a quick way to gain access to my phones data, plus my tablets data plus my camera's data and even my camcorders data from SD cards in whichever format/full/micro/mini.Saw this product and just could not believe a USB3 stick for approx £6 could do the trick...I am eating my words. It works perfectly and really fast too. Its bright, looks the part on my desk and just does what I want it to do everytime. Just BRILLIANT!!!

This USB 3 SD/ Micro SD card reader is quite simply put the best bang per buck reliable reader there is.This is my 2nd one as I was so impressed with the 1st 1 that I bought.It's quite cheap & it's really good at it's job of moving data back & forth on your memory cards.This reader will be perfectly capable for the majority of users out there & should near enough max all your cards out at about 100Mbs +/- with DL's & UL's... If you have faster than 100mb/s cards & need that extra speed then I'd advice paying more & investing in the newer protocol Card readers but they're quite a bit more expensive by a long way.My cards are all U3 90/100 mbs ones so I'm happy enough with the speeds this little reader supplies to them as it maxes them out 99% of the time.Nothing bad to say on this product as it does exactly as it claims at a relatively cheap price too.Buy 1 ! unless you need Uber Quick Speeds ;)

I really like this item.I had bought it because at the time I was solely working on my desktop PC. My PC did not have any ports for putting in SD cards or anything similar, so i really needed it.It arrived quickly through prime (of course) and is actually really good and easy to use (I don't know how it would be difficult to use but i'm just making it clear that it is a good product). It reads all cards and they show up on the computer quickly. The USB 3.0 is also a great bonus because of the fact that it makes uploading images to your computer much faster, brilliant for the price i may add.The only downfall this product has is that any time i tried to put multiple SD cards in the card reader and then plug it into my computer, either none or only one would show. Maybe this is just a fault of my one and I don't really mind having to keep changing the SD cards, it isnt that much of a bother, but it does get a bit tedious. Oh well.All is well!Ive had it for a couple of months and its still going great.Thanks!

I'm using this card reader to transfer photos from my SanDisk 64GB 90MB/s SD card and it works a charm. The build quality is great, and even the cap to cover the USB is a nice snug fit and gives a nice click once its in place.If you're looking for a cheap and good performing memory card reader, get this one.

It's got it all, lightweight, easy to use, everything is in the right place, just perfect.a pleasure to use, and it is used often!Every time I use it for my SD card, it fits snug, and been using this for years too.No complaints at all.In fact I have recommended and bought this for family and friends, it's that good.

It’s a good reliable as card reader however it was slow to arrive (apparently it got stuck in customs?) compared to my usb type c reader this is much slower, but more convenient for travel and I like the colour (went for pink) pink is easier to find when your hunting through leads bag.I definitely would not have purchased had I realised it was not coming from the uk and would get stuck in customs, I mean seriously it was delayed by several days.

Compact - maybe there are smaller ones if you only need micro SDHC device support. It can take a full sized SDHC card which makes it a bit bulky. Also works well in my setup as the cards will stick out when installed and so can snag whatever is in an adjacent USB slot (on say a tablet or compact laptop). So pay attention to this. Slot is to the underside when held with product name right way up and the connector to the left. My USB slot is on the right hand side of my laptop and so this means the card pokes out to the underside which is perfect for me as nothing snags to the underside - unlike if the card poked out the top side
