Excellent headphone
I work from home and wear headphones for long periods of time. I've used these headphones for about 2 weeks and they are well worth the money. First, they are very comfortable. Snug without being too tight. Ear pads wrap completely around the ear and they do dramatically reduce noise. When music is playing, I don't hear any sounds other than the music and the voices in my head. The sound is quality is pleasing.I was pleasantly surprised at how long the cord is, I'm sure it's listed somewhere in the description but I didn't pay much attention to that when I bought them. I roll around in my chair from different areas of my office and I never have to take them off. And they the cord connects to the headphones on just one side so it stays out of my way as I type.I wasn't expecting a lot from an item I didn't research but these have been a great set of headphones and a great price.Added review from his wife: I can testify to the noise cancelling ability because I scare him almost daily (not on purpose, he just never hears me!)

High quality at a low price point.
I love these things. This is my 2nd pair. My 1st pair lasted 5 years theyears before I finally wore them out taking them on and off at work. The sound quality is pretty good for the price range and they're just expensive enough to sound good but just cheap enough to keep anyone from stealing them at work. My favorite part is the 10' cord that allows me to slide around my cubicle without ever taking them off. Although they're not true sound canceling they do a pretty good job of blocking all of the noises around me so I can just go into my own world.

Very good overall but not the most comfortable
I bought this headphone to connect to my digital piano so I could practice without bothering others and being bothered by others. This Tascam TH-03 definitely delivers it for a great price. The sound quality is right at that level that you know it’s good but could be a bit better, and the same goes for noise cancellation. Again, it is very good for its price, which is a very low price. I also must mention the quality material and excellent feel of this headphone on the skin. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the size of the part that covers the ears. Ear size might be subjective, but I consider my ears to be the same size or even slightly smaller than all of my friends, and yet it doesn’t completely cover my ears. For this reason, it does take maybe 10 minutes for my ears to accommodate to the headphone every time I practice. So, all in all, I am very happy about this product because it definitely delivers a good experience for its price, but there are 3 obvious areas with room for Tascam to improve.

Outsanding
A suprising discovery. These are studio audiophile grade headphones that sound as good or better as anything on the market for 10x the price. If you listen to lofi, jazz, classical, or really any genre that has a lot of intricacies, these are your headphones.

Not loving them.
These are all mids and treble with underrepresented bass.I tried these with my Roland E-kit as well as listened to some Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, some 90's and 2000's top 40 stuff and everything tended to sound somewhat on the tinny, hollow and nasally side with too much mid range and not enough low end, kind of like listening to music through a megaphone. It's not that bad, but you get the jest. Imagine listening to ACDC on a stereo system with big 3-way speakers with12" woofers in a big room, BANG! BOOM! BAM! ,... Now imagine hooking up little 5" speakers and listening to the same song. That's how these sound, mostly mid range and treble.Mine don't have any R and L markings on the earpieces either. The build quality is acceptable for the price and they are reasonably comfortable. These things are dirt cheap and so not too much to complain about, but they are just barely worth the price you pay for them. I don't understand why many reviewers say these have good low end.

My husband loves this headset
This headset replaces an aging headset my husband used to play back recordings from medical conference lectures. What a difference quality makes! The first time he used them with his deck audio cassette player/recorder, he had to turn down the volume by 50%!I bought this set because I new the Tascam brand name as a quality audio equipment manufacture. And he wanted the over the ear cuff design and the folding feature (to fit in his bag of audio recording equipment). He loves that the 1/4" connector screws off to reveal the mini-plug (rather than just pulls off). He expects the ear cuff design to help him when recording in a large presentation room with lots of distracting noises.Good value for the price. Highly recommend.
