With two independent MPP trackers and two solar inputs, this award-winning Steca Tarom M-Type 60A MPPT charge controller can easily handle two different solar module arrays of varying sizes.

The controller is suitable for 12V, 24V or 48V battery banks. It can accept input from solar panels with maximum power of up to 850W (12V batteries), 1700W (24V batteries) or 3400W (48V batteries) and can work with larger systems of 36V or 60V batteries by activating advanced settings.

The controller comes with an automatic electronic fuse and a full range of electronic safety functions including protection against: overcharge, deep discharge, overload, short circuit, high voltage, reverse polarity, high temperature, lightning and transient surges and reverse current at night.

This M-Type model has the ability to communicate with up to 22 Steca Tarom MPPT S-Type controllers (product code TMPPT-6000S) in one network, offering possibilities for system expansion at a later date. When multiple S-type controllers are connected, this controller will intelligently synchronise their actions and charging stages.
