JBLManado 25 l, Natural substrate for freshwater aquariums

This works very well as a substrate base and is excellent value. I tend to mix in a little extra such as Dennerle Deponit or one of the JBL options and get great results. Unfortunately I can not fairly comment on using it on it's own because I never have thinking I'd rather add something at the start than have to add after the planting is finished.

I probably read the description wrong but this isn't aqua soil in anyway shape or form it's there to absorb nutrients from the soil and slowly release it into the water column. Looks good if that's hat you want it for. Never used it so can't say much more.

Very good but for mee too light when it's used on it's own and it's hard to keep your plant in place without additional plant weight.

This is the best substrate. The structure provide space for water to circulates and plants are rooting very well. I really like it in our tank- colour and structure. You need to wash it well , even sift it. And soaking in water for 48h is a good idea as well. But the price and the quality deserve a bit more work around. I strongly recommend this product if you like natural plants in your aquarium.

So I read carefully as I was changing from sand to something that would keep plants alive and yet safe for my corys.Safe to say it is not even though it says its safe for the barbels. All my 4 year old corys have lost their beautiful long barbels since they have been in with this. Plants die even with extra fertiliser added in liquid form.No amount of washing is enough. 5 months on and the water still goes cloudy when I vacume the bottom weekly. It has clogged my 207 filter so much that the flow has slowed right down and cannot clear the blockage because particles easily fly around.Will not buy again and looking to try and find nice sand and moss to cover

Now I have not used it at all because it is too fine (samll grain size sandlike) for my purpouse. Otherwise I think (which is subjective ofcourse) is really nice product because it will never compact as fine sand and will never turn into mush it is like sintered clay really porous which I think is good.

Good plant growth substrate for planted tanks

Il fondo è ottimo per far attecchire le radici, l'unico neo è che per 2/3 giorni una buona parte delle pietrucce galleggia e bisogna pulire spesso il filtro. Per il resto c'è da dire che è un ottimo fondo inerte per chi non ha troppe esigenze

Ici, utilisez en demande pour substrat orchidées.... Parfait 👍

Très bien..Utilisé en aquariophilie mais aussi, dans mes pots de fleurs...Un peu cher, comme souvent chez JBL.
