MoD Issue NATO Approved Military RA Map Reading Protractor and Instructions

Good. Not green, as it appears. This is the colour of the tear-off protector film; which is what I had hoped. Good quality. If you need a British RA protractor, this is the one for you.

I've used one of these for years and was looking for a replacement as mine got damaged. This one is a superb well made version.

Brilliant item, comes with instructions of how to use if you didn't know and exactly what it says (as long as you can read mils).

The quality of this product outstanding. The seller has used a quality cardboard backed envelope and has sent the instructions on quality card.I can not fault the seller or product. I would certainly buy from here again.

Not clear in the description is that it is *only* of any use by the military, unless you intend to sight and fire artillery or mortars. Most disappointing is that the angles are measured in mils (milliradians) not degrees which civilian compasses use. The conversion is not simple either, with 1 mill = 0.05625 degrees. So unless you are a wiz with mental arithmetic or in the military I wouldn't bother.
