I have four-year-old who has ZERO patience when things don't go right the first time. This book has been wonderful for her. It has helped her to understand that, instead of throwing a tantrum when something she is working on doesn't go immediately the way she things it should, she should walk away and cool down. It also teaches perseverance. I find that my child can relate to what happens to the girl in the story. Also, the illustrations are fabulous.

A great package and a greater content. Read it to 60 reception children and not a squeak out of any of them. Totally mesmerising with subliminal message of human nature, calming techniques, imperfection is acceptable and most importantly, perseverence.

My daughter absolutely loved this book - cute, funny, beautifully illustrated and it teaches a good lesson as well. Children often get frustrated when their vision outstrips their capabilities but this story shows the importance of not giving up. Definitely recommended.

Nice and really helps the imagination be creative I love this author and the other books that they have produced so this one did live up to expectation

A great little book to help understand that it happens to others too and it might just be worth picking up and starting again... That's just me, haven't even read it to my boys yet!!
