As a ref for a volleyball rec league and a coach for elementary sports, I LOVE these whistles. They have three settings and are loud. The battery lasts a long time too. I loved that I could buy four in a box so that I could give them to my coaches. Definitely a must for coaching and reffing!

... and one for each of his assistants! These guys coach 9 and 10-year olds and this whistle gets this rambunctious group's immediate attention! I wouldn't use them in the house though - they are LOUD! So far, all continue to work beautifully. Recommend.

As a PE teacher my students also red, so having a hand held whistle was a great option. They are pretty load, but have four different sound setting helps with that. Great product.

I bought these whistles 3 years ago and I gifted them to my other coaches. The battery just went out of mine a week ago

I recommend this whistle, to anyone that is not constantly trying to yell, thus making one lose his or her voice. I work with primary students so, whenever their outside playing and it's time to line up, the last thing I want to do is yell. The whistle can be used with just a simple push of a button yes! a button, say goodbye to blowing a whistle, simply just push the button, a couple of times and you're good to go. It even has volume levels ranging 1 to 3 with 3 being the highest level, that's not all the bonus for me was the flash light! How cool is that?! It's lightweight, easy to trun on and off, plus it comes with a rope chain that can be worn around your neck. This whistle gets 5 starts from me.

These are SO loud and so easy to use. We use them for our lunch intramurals and the kids prefer them over regular whistles. Also much more hygienic to use these. The battery life is great, so far one year in and have not needed to change them!
