Q: How long does your fruit fresh protector last after opening the container?

I usually use it up before the expiration date but as long as you keep the container covered so the contents do not get wet your Fruit Fresh should be good to use. With proper storage, you should be able to use it for a year or so after opening. I tend to agree about indefinite storage. The big thing is keep it dry and store in a dark cupboard.

Q: What are the ingredients?

The Jar says: Dextrose, Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), citric acid, silicon dioxide to prevent caking. Contains no sulfites. As an aside, when I was a kid they used to grind up vitamin C tablets and add to the peaches they were canning to keep them from browning. This product is much easier to use and works well.

Q: Has anone tried it on avocados or guacamole?

I use it on avocados all the time. It works like a charm.
