Astro 4550 Air Operated Paint Shaker

Excellant product, very satisfied!

This paint shaker works real well and is at a great price.. the only thing negative i would say about it is that the vibration from the machine causes you to have to attach it to a table or surface that youre not going to need other things on.. the vibrations caused by it make everything on the table move.. the flexibility of being able to shake varying sizes of paint cans and the ease of inserting and removing is another plus.. all in all its really great! This product works extremely well. The only slight complaint that I had was that the connection to the airline input is too low. With it this low to the mounting surface it makes it a bit difficult to connect the on/off valve to the unit if you didn't do it before mounting the unit. Obviously, you could just connect it before mounting, but my valve ended up "up-side down" and slightly angled once it was as tight as it needed to be (I was afraid to tighten it further to get it on top where it should be for fear that I might damage the threads or the unit). With the valve positioned where it is, turning it on and off is a little awkward. Other than that, it performed its job of mixing my paint perfectly. I would recommend this product highly.

I have used this shaker five (5) times now and it does a GREAT job. Honestly, there is not much to say about it other than it does what it is expected to do. I used it for full gallon cans, quart cans and even a pint can of sprayable stain. It fits them all. One note I will make is that you need to have a very sturdy table or other item to bolt this to as it does (obviously) shake a round quite a bit. Here is to more painting projects!

We always seem to have some paint laying around that needs mixed. Having this at the house makes the job Soooo convenient! I compared the reviews to the Harbor Freight version and a few others and chose this one. It definitely gets the job done. Had to bolt it to the floor in the garage but it lives there now and gets used far more than I would have expected. Even for spray paint cans and sample jugs as it tightens down pretty sung and to a small size when required...
