I purchased this because it had the probiotic in it that helps women metabolize rice and other similar carbs. I have found that it works very well in that respect. My choice was based on research that I had read about how in Japan, people have this particular bacteria strain in their gut but in America, we are lacking it. So when we eat that sort of food, the carbs go directly to fat storage as opposed to being metabolized and used for energy.

Bought this after emergency surgery to rebuild my gut biome. I am a fan of Thorne products, and this arrived quickly and is fantastic. My GI tract discomfort was solved, the price is good, and I will continue buying this. *Edited this because I somehow didn't "meet community standards" which is astounding as it's hard to know what's controversial about an effective probiotic supplement.*

These produces are the same as those sold on the company website.They are also no different in price than you would pay on the company website.As the products purchased were not for my personal consumption, I cannot attest to their effectiveness. My friend, however, for whom I made the purchase for, swears by the product.

Over the years I have tried many brands of feminine/vaginal probiotics, some have worked better than others, but this one from Thorne has absolutely been the best. After taking these for 3 for 4 days all odor dissapeared. I was excited to see they made one because I've purchased from them before and I would say they are on the higher end of quality as far as supplements go. I was also happy they included rueteri which is such an amazing and beneficial strain of bacteria. I would highly recommend this one if you are looking for a female probiotic!

I tried these and had bloating and discomfort. So I quit. Then I tried one more time. It took about a week to get through the transition. I'll take for a few more months before I know if they're helping, but Thorne is a really good brand and I picked these strains specifically.
