If you have been diagnosed with any type of Cancer, you MUST read this book! On page 6 the authors describe what the cancer does to take over the section where it starts growing. The authors state that the cancer cells are like vampires and will do anything to keep the blood near them, the cancer cells problem solve, they are very smart! They even send out tendrils to attach themselves to that blood to feed themselves so they grown bigger and bigger. They set up a network of blood attachments to always have a on the spot resource of blood available to them. The Authors hint that the patient will need to find drugs or ALTERNATIVE/NATURAL medicines to stop this from happening. And so I look at this paragraph and say to myself, ' Ok, so what about Herbs that cleanse the Blood? If the cancer cells will do anything to keep that blood source available to them so that they will grow and even change the blood to serve them, then the answer would be BLOOD CLEANSERS.And so I give this truth to all of you who need a cure, Blood Cleanser Herbs; such as Dandelion Leaves & Roots, Pau'd'arco Inner Bark and Wild Violet, Yellow dock Root, Red Clover Flowers, Oregon Grape Root, Burdock Roots and Seeds, Suma Bark & Berries, to only name a few. The info in this book helps those having chemo as well as those who simply want to know what all the methods of treatments are, and helps people make better choices on which treatment to choose when diagnosed with cancer.

If you or anyone you know has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, this book is a must have. I would recommend this book to any male over 40 as well. Get those PSAs done as baselines around 40 and keep an eye on them. Prevention is possible and this book has some of those how-to's.But it really is a guide for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer and is very good and readable.

When you are first told you have cancer it is a bit too much to take in at the time. Your next step is to understand what you have and the best treatment options for you. The book helped me understand all options and choose the options which were best for me with the help of some very special people in the medical field.

I had been looking for a book on cancer which the layman could understand without constantly referring to a dictionary. This is it!And not boreing: at least not to me.

I would recommend this book to new patients and oncologists alike. Would enable open and honest discussions. Read chapter by chapter or just go to the one most relevant to your current situation...then read the whole book!

When I went thru cancer treatment, it was rote, based on a set of 3 protocols, poison, cut & burn. The only individualization was the amount of each. This book should be read before treatment, not after if you want to survive cancer beyond the so-called golden 5 year point. Then & only then can you say, you have made an informed choice.

So far I have read about 20% of this book, and find it very interesting. the authors obviously have a good understanding of the subject and send a clear message to the readers.

There is a lot of very useful information in this book and I am trying to digest it all. Sadly it has not 'translated' to an eBook very well as there are lots of tables and diagrams which are indistinct. I will need to buy a hard copy.

Full of good information and a great help to people who have been diagnosed with cancer and also good information for undertaking preventative measures.

Excellent book on complementary therapy alongside conventional treatment for all types of cancer.

This book is very helpful for someone who truly wants to take an integrative approach to their cancer care/treatment. It is not about conventional vs "natural" treatment options, but how they can work in tandem to enhance your health & reduce the sometimes brutal side effects of just conventional treatment.If you want your cancer care to be about more than just your body & erradicating disease, but about healing & supporting all of you, you'll find really good information here. The information also seems to be well supported by cited studies & referenced in footnotes/bibliography.
