This timer is to replace the exact same timer I have used for many many years , it’s impossible to fault it’s looks , magnetic back, functions and alarm sound easy to use and value for money.

My father in law has Parkinson's disease and needs to take tablets at a regular time (every 2 hours). Simple really but if distracted he'd lose track of the time. Conventional pill dispensers etc. are fine but not audible and/or portable. He investigated kitchen timers but in most instances maximum time 60 or 90 minutes no use for 120 minutes or longer.This is perfect for the job. Takes an AAA cell, has a handy clip to attach to pocket if needed, a magnet to attach to, say, fridge, can time up to 19 hours 59 minute intervals and is easy to use. it's also small and loud. Spot on! Since buying him one no problems. Delivery was quick and fast, I was out at time of delivery but small enough to put through the letter box. Seriously thinking of buying one for myself.

It is the loudest time I have had and that is good. I don't like it not saving the last used time and having to reset it every time it is used. I also find it odd not being able to keep your finger on the button to make it go up faster like other timers. The start button is on the right and the stop button is the minute one. It took me awhile to get that. On the up side it does work for much longer than a normal electronic timer which have a maximum of 99 minutes. I imagine this will come into it's own at Christmas. I tend to have two or three timers at any one time, so this one fills the gap the others miss (being able to hear it from my studio and the ability to time long durations)

I must have spent hours working out which kitchen timer to get, I settled on this one and I am glad I did. It's LOUD (think loud digital alarm clock, plus a bit), which means it can be heard from other rooms; this likely one of the few timers on Amazon that you can hear when you're in the living room. The other key point is it's powered by conventional AAA battery and not some stupid button battery that is expensive and hard to source.The display is a reasonable size so you should be able to see it from anywhere in your kitchen. The buttons are a fair size, you get pause functionality, and you can set it in hour and minutes. There is a magnet on the rear that is nice and strong, and also a sprung clip should you not have anything metal to attach it to. The only downsides to it are the display is not backlit and it's not that pretty.

I had one of these alarm timers when it was called Big Time and made by Salter. It was excellent and lasted for almost 15yrs. So far this current reincarnation is working exactly the same way complete with a very loud alarm and features. Very pleased to have found it.

I found that the timer on my new cooker is not as loud as the previous one and so after reading many reviews decided to purchase this timer.It may not be the most attractive timer around but it is easy to use, has clear large digits, and more importantly has a nice loud ring which I can hear from other downstairs rooms.The magnet is strong and attaches well to the fridge. I would not hesitate to recommend this item.

Bought one of these before and found it very useful,nice loud sound and easy to use ,can also be taken with you where ever you are home or garden enabling you to do other things.
