Despite the price, this thing actually works!! Oh! And even better! IT WORKS FOR THE ECHO DOT 5! Just pay attention to me here or read the instructions on this page. lol the little plastic back wall thingy, just kinda bend it back and forth till breaks off. Then voila! It works for the 5 and it cost less too! Hoping it holds up over time to my liking but I like this far. Hopefully this was helpful!

Easy fix to allow Dot 5 to fit snugly on top of unit.I am getting upto 13 hours of music play time out of single charge.Well worth it!

The media could not be loaded.  If you have an echo dot, you must purchase this! It makes it so much more convenient, you can move around room to room , the battery lasts awhile. And bonus is you can still plug in to the wall charger. While listening to music. My dot used to just stay in the bathroom, now it’s everywhere I go.

I love my Alexa enabled speaker. My only note is that I wanted a base to make it wireless. I was instructed to order the base for Gen 4 and alter it for my Gen 5. I wasn’t too fond of that. Otherwise the product was fine.

I can use my echo inside or outside the RV with ease now.

Tight fit,, but doesn’t quite fit correctly and difficult to get connected. The length of the cord is short and the system doesn’t fit in the base fully so it took some muscle to get it into place enough that the cord actually plugged in enough to provide power. Once connected it work as indicated and playtime matched what was advertised.

This battery base has freed up my Echo so it is portable. I enjoy the quality of sound from my Echo dot (with clock) and this battery base allows me to hear it from room to room. I have only used it for short periods of time, but the battery life seems good.
