I bought this on a whim after trying several dandruff shampoos—including prescription options—that just didn’t work for me. To my surprise, this has worked better than anything I’ve ever tried.It lathers really well, which I love because it makes it easier to spread across my whole scalp. A lot of other dandruff shampoos don’t lather, and I’m often left wondering if I even covered enough surface area for it to be effective.I only use this once a week, and it keeps my dandruff under control better than other shampoos I used multiple times a week. I've already repurchased it, and it’s officially a staple in my shower now.

I have been using this shampoo for a month or 2 now. I am not sure I am liking it that much. It works ok to get my hair clean, a little harder to lather on the first wash. On the second wash - it lathers fine, and seems to do an adequate job managing dandruff. One of the things I do NOT like about his shampoo though, is that I seem to get large pimples and or bumps on my scalp as a result of using it. When I use other dandruff shampoos, I don't seem to get this. So not sure what is in it that may contribute to this. Also the price point is very high on this shampoo. Another negative.

I realized recently that my head was always itchy. I tried a few different shampoos but this product helped from the first use. Such a relief!

I received this wrapped in plastic but once you take the plastic off, there is no seal on the bottle itself. When I opened the top and looked inside, half of the product is empty. This did not leak out, so what is going on here? It was sold by Philip Kingsley and shipped by Amazon, no third party seller. I have been scammed by the actual sellers! This should be illegal, this is not cheap shampoo! I guess they don't want repeat buyers.*changing my review because this shampoo ready helped me without stripping out my hair color. The shampoo is very thick and concentrated, so maybe it's heavy and just doesn't fill up the bottle. I'm going to order directly and see if it's the same amount. It's possible the bottle is too large and the amount is correct since I didn't weigh it to make sure. Regardless, this made my scalp feel very good without drying it out, so I was happy afterwards.

I use the Philip Kingsley line and I absolutely love it. It’s worth every penny, however, this shampoo really dried out my ends. I was hoping it would be a much gentler shampoo, but I also have bleached blonde hair. Well, that’s why I purchased it in the first place, thinking it would be gentler. The bottle or is also almost half full you could tell that some had leaked out there was stickiness on the outside of the bottle.

The Philip Kingsley Flaky Scalp Shampoo is effective at reducing dandruff and soothing the scalp. I noticed a difference after the first wash and my flakes seem non-existent within days. I like this shampoo better than any other dandruff shampoo I've tried in the past. It lathers well and is easy to apply. My hair also had a clean appearance after use as it removed residue.
