Yes, you can export the data with the USB cable. Please connect to a PC to do the record setting(like recording interval ect.)before record, then press "Rec" on the meter to start to record. The data will record in the software and then you can download.

Can you disable the auto-off function, so it stays on for hours? I need to record the analog output remotely.

Yes, you can. Please hold down “F/S” button and then press the “POWER” button while the meter is off, the meter will be on and the auto power off indicator will appear which mean the function now is disabled.

Can this meter be used to calibrate surround sound speaker system?

You’d probably do just as well with the NIOSH app from the the App Store, which, I think, is free.
