Lights up but it's not bright enough.
The design is pretty clever but the LED's just aren't bright enough to carry the light all the way through.

Mine did not make it past the Atlantic intact!
I really was excited to receive this item for promotional purposes. Unfortunately it did not make it here usable to the good 'ole USA. The shipper did not handle with care, as it was cracked out of the box. I figured it was just a crack, so I'd put up with it, but with gentle handling it spider webbed and fell completely apart.
