Can this be used as a humidifer for plants?

I use it near my plants and I love it. Doesn’t shoot up very high but it still works great.

does it turn off by itself?

The diffuser has settings, and will turn off when it runs out, but it will keep spinning. You have to manually shut that off

what size room does this support ?

I would use it for a small room like a bedroom.
