Great router
Bit pricey like most Draytek routers but it really is a very good router and would recommend this to anyone in need of a good router. We bought this to connect to replace a far cheaper router which is connected to our EFM link in work and it has made a massive difference already.Very configurable indeed but you ned to know what you are doing

Hard to set up, but totally worth it
Extremely hard to set up, multiple calls to draytek will ensue. Persevere and you will have an extremely good\fast\reliable and secure router. The best router I have ever had, but a b**ch to set up.

Good but a few more options might be handy
Does all the basics but would be handy if it could override preferred routing in the event of a WAN failure.

Not tried it yet but quick word of warning
Just wanted to warn you that it comes with a European power supply (at least the one supplied by soteluk). I am sourcing another one elsewhere (12v AC 1.5a) and I could use a converter so not a big issue but it's a delay I wasn't expecting to contend with. Will update when I've set it up with 2 wan's (BT Infinity & Virgin).UPDATE: Instruction booklet in German (Sigh) Clearly not meant for UK sale. Router might be good but as my time is being wasted searching for stuff so far it's a 3 star only.

Excellent as ever. Not cheap but good!
A replacement for a Netgear router which had a rather basic firewall. Excellent as ever. Not cheap but good!

NOT IPv6 ready, despite two major UK ISPs turning on IPv6 connectivity.
Considering it boasts itself as IPv6 ready right in the title image, it's pretty poor that DHCPv6 (stateful) mode is broken. The L-bit is set to 0 when in stateful mode, with no way of altering the Router Advertisement to turn it on. A DHCPv6 host cannot send a packet to another DHCPv6 host, as it assumes it's off-link and must pass the packet to the Vigor router. The Vigor router then doesn't forward on the packet or send a redirect. So IPv6 only works if you use SLAAC mode, at which point any firewall management becomes next to impossible. But even if DHCPv6 mode worked, the DHCPv6 functionality is very limited, and you'd need to roll your own ISC DHCP server.I've made DrayTek aware of the problem, explaining the issue about 3 different times now, and they seem clueless on how it's supposed to work, and just keep asking me for my router's address & password so they can log in and see it, or for me to send my configuration. It's like they have no lab to be able to test it for themselves.
