Q: How can increase the resistance? The tank is full and the resistance is still very light.

Pull harder. I had a waterrower brand and the harder you pulled the higher the resistance. Try and keep stroke rate below 30. Extend your legs like you are jumping to increase power.

Q: How loud is this machine? Would you be able to watch tv without headphones?

It's not loud at all. I watch TV without headphones maybe one or two clicks higher than I normally would.

Q: Do I put all 3 water tablets in water

No that is too many -- Evidently that will build up gas and pop the plug. I can't remember how many you are supposed to use. But who wants to keep pills like that around the house. They would make you sick if you ate one. I put in all 3 pills and have to take out some water and add plain water to avoid gas build up. It is not an exact thing. But I am very fuzzy about sharing directions.
