Venus De Milo Goddess Aphrodite Greek Roman Mythology Statue

Absolutely gorgeous I lovee

I have been thinking of buying a Venus de Milo for quite some time. I received a FB teaser for one almost the same price from another source, but decided to look at photos of the real one at the Louvre. The one advertised had both feet in full and something about the base did not look right - Turns out the authentic sculpture has one complete foot and the other is missing. It also has an irregular base. THIS version is much closer to the historic statue and I am not disappointed. It comes in a nice box suitable for a gift and was packed in real excelsior too!

Beautiful statue! It’s a decent height, well-made, and looks incredible with my decor. Packaged well too so it was perfect straight out of the box. Love it

The first one arrived broken but it was easy to get a quick replacement thru Amazon. It’s a very cool piece. There’s a reason the real statue is so famous - it’s a great statue! My mother had a small replica when I was a kid, so this holds some nostalgia for me when I see it on my nightstand. Very happy with this purchase and the price is right.

She’s beautiful and seems to be crafted well. She’s not as heavy as I thought. She seems to be made out of plastic, not unlike aquarium ornaments.
