I will admit, I did not care for the Core Rules of the game. That said, the Player’s Guide here is by far one of the best Player’s Guides for any game I’ve played in my 20 years of GMing. Easy to read, easy to understand, with some awesome little info spreads for a GM to hold up to players to say “here are your options, here’s what they mean.” I didn’t really vibe with Vampire until I got this book, and it nailed it in for me. Love it, and can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent read. Adds to the game. Provides depth.

He likes older Masquerade but we like how this is set in modern times and the whole world governments along with the church coming together to take out Kindred. It’s an interesting progression of the meta narrative
