So easy to put together. Seems like great quality. Great for younger children. Wanted something would not take up a lot of room and this fit perfectly into the space.

Last and final update for this playset as we are just going to take it down and set it out for the trash: We are still not even a year into owning it and the playset looks as if it is 10+ years old. Minus several pieces that are broke and cannot be played on all together, the wood looks absolutely disgusting. We have another playset from another brand that is 4 years old never been stained or treated and looks a lot better than this playset. We were really hoping to have a climbing center for our climbing lover kids but this was not the quality that we expected. Just want buyers to beware for the amount of money you are spending that it is definitely not worth it.Updating again after 6 months: we received the new boards from the company and we replaced them April 6. Fast forward to May 24 and the screws are literally breaking in half again on the same boards that the company replaced. For only being one month old again the screws should not be breaking and neither should the boards. We can't even try to replace them again because each time since they screws are broke off we have to move the board to be screwed into a new hole so that we are not hitting the old screws. Also for the whole playset only being 6 months old it looks like it is starting to mold and looks absolutely disgusting. I was really hoping this would be a playset that we could love for a long time and unfortunately it just isn't.Updated to add: After 3 months of contacting the company to try to get the pieces replaced we finally got them, and So far they have held up better than the old ones and have not broke.We purchased this for a Christmas gift and we put it together on Christmas Eve. My kids only got to play on it 3x before the screws are literally snapping in half and it is falling apart. The wood is now bowed and it is on an area that my children never even played on (the top of the structure). Very disappointed in this purchase for $900 you would think it would be better quality.I have contacted the company and their response was to send me new screws to fix the problem. New screws aren't going to fix the bowing wood and not only that but 2 months old the screws should not be snapping in half and breaking. Again absolute junk!!

This play set is the exact size and shape I have been envisioning for a while. We had a small issue with assembly, but customer support immediately replied, helped solve our issue and compensated us for our trouble. I was so thankful for the kindness and consideration I received. Once assembled, it is very sturdy, great size for our medium sized yard, and all of my kids from ages 2-11 have loved playing!

The media could not be loaded. This is pretty nice. I feel like the wood is not the strongest kind. I would have went with metal monkey bars not wood. The metal polls that go into the ground were very hard to get in. It doesn’t seem the most stable. There is not that much room for the swing. And mine did not have that worsen swing in the picture. But I actually like it better with the poll in the back. I’m worried how long it will last. But my7 year old loves it. He sits on top most of the time. It would be nice if it had a platform to sit on top easily.It takes a long time to put together. At least two people to help.Overall it is nice for the price.

The quality of the Avenlur Hawthorn is excellent for the price! The instructions are good, just a few things that I would have appreciated to be a little clearer. It could have been just me since I am 74 putting it together myself!! That alone should tell you how easy it is. The company is extremely helpful, polite and you can understand them, lol!!

Great play set. Easy to put together

I would give this product zero stars if I could. We haven’t even had it for a year, and the quality is extremely poor. The wood has started to break, and my kids can no longer play on it. Do NOT BUY this item. It has been such a disappointment.

The media could not be loaded. Towards the back of the video you’ll see our Hawthorn climber. We LOVE it. Admittedly, I was nervous in the beginning based on our volume of kids how it would hold up, and this piece has really stood up to the work! We’ve had literally thousands of kids in the last 9 months play on it. It gets used as everything from a jungle gym, a fortress, a car garage, and more. We tighten it regularly and do frequent inspections (as is policy with all our equipment), but we’ve never had any issues and fully expect it to be played with in our space for a long time going forward.After hours and hours and hours of playtime, it’s easy to say that this piece is durable, fun, and great quality.
