The heating pack doesn't work
The food is ok. But you will need boiling water to heat up the food pack due to the MRE heating pack don't work. Otherwise you will eat cold food. Full of empty calories very low in protein. The banana/strawberry smoothie is more like baby food. Solves in case of emergency but will be only eating cold food unless having an alternate way to heat the packs

All barley/ veg stews
These MREs brought back a lot of memories. What I didn't like is the fact that I got ten RANDOM MREs and all of them were vegetable barley stew. Not one damn chili Mac. No tortellini. I have to buy elsewhere next time. That was not cool.

Great for what they are - full day's meals
These are great if you know what you are getting. Super affordable, taste good, no meat, no drink, no heaters. A full day's worth of meals. Add a couple of $1 chicken pouches and a drink if you want. Heat by boiling in the pouch with a backpack or camp stove while on the run. We bought primarily for emergency, power out, etc., but dual purpose for kayaking, camping and rest stops when we don't want to pay $30 for 2 big macs. I am ordering from this seller again. The first time we tried a main, 2 of us were pretty full with it and the side dishes we never got to the 2nd. We added a quick rice pick to the 2nd main another night and 2 of us still didn't finish it all. Very filling. The mains are all beans, lentils, rice, black eyed peas and the like. Be creative and add a couple $ of meat pouches or whatever for some variety. Throw in a tortilla, naan or hardtack (you're gonna want the crackers with the pb&j). It still costs tons less for a whole days meals. We added pizza shop parmesan and pepper to go packets as well and it makes a great all day pack.

These arrived fast and at a fair price with 2023 Insp date.

They were delevered in poor condision
The boxing had been opened and apparently there storage was less than ideal. The heaters do not work and the main course on two out of two were uneatable.
