Plug compatibility with a Creality Stepper
I have a Longer LK5 Pro that is highly mod'd and running Klipper. The other day my stock y axis motor started to fail on large prints. So I created a simple g-code file that moved the bed from the front to the back repeatedly with a speed of 100mm/s. The stock Longer motor would error after four passes and halt the script. I had a spare creality motor that I swapped in. It could handle the full 100 cycles of moving the bed back and forth @ 100mm/s but the external temperature would get to 150F.Enter the Greentech! This was an easy install, the cabling was identical to the creality motor. You could say it was plug and play :) After making sure it would home and move correctly, I ran the gcode script. 100 passes of back and forth @ 100mm/s. The motor didn't even get to 100F. So I decided to see what this motor could do. How about 100 passes @ 250mm/s and the external temp of the case never got over 110F!!!This is a beast of a stepper motor for a fair price. I'm definitely going to replace my X axis motor when I do the linear rail upgrade to that axis.

High Quality Stepper Motor is Perfect for Ender 3 Dual Gear Extruder Upgrade
The media could not be loaded. Upon unboxing the Geeetech Nema 17 42-40 Stepper Motor, I was surprised to find a specification sheet with all the critical information for this motor. Surprise number two was the included high quality, sheathed cable. You won't find these extra items in the higher priced replacement motors from the original manufacturer. This Geeetech Nema 17 Stepper Motor is perfect for replacing the short shaft, press on gear stepper motor on the Ender 3 series printers. Problem 1: the press on gear is difficult to remove you have to cut it off or try to pull it without damaging the motor or shaft. Problem 2: there is no flat on the stock shaft to tighten the set screw on the new drive gear against, you will have to grind one on the shaft. Problem 3: Once you get the gear off and a flat ground you will find that the Stock stepper shaft on newer Ender 3 series is too short for the drive gear for the Dual Gear Extruder upgrade. This Geeetech Stepper is the perfect solution, no cutting, pulling or grinding. Just replace the stock stepper with this Geeetech Nema 17 as you install the Dual Gear Extruder.

Direct swap
It was the same price to buy this to replace my stepper motor that has a push-to-fit gear as it would have been to buy a gear puller. This made upgrading to steel gears super simple, and it works well. The connections are all identical so there was no need to replace the wire.

Perfect Match For Cr-10 3D Printer
I had a motor short out on a Creality CR-10 . This stepper motor was a basic swap-out, and I was back up and running. No issues, and it works as expected. Steps are accurate, and bearings are smooth!

Good stepper motor for projects
I'm using this stepper motor on a project. It's quiet and responsive to my controller and I don't have any play in the shaft. All in all, works well.
