This was so easy to use & great quality. My faux leather couch was pealing & this covered the effected area easily & stopped the pealing! It worked perfectly! The color was also a great match for me.

We had a small tear on the corner of our couch and this worked perfectly. The color was very close so the tape didn't stand out. Very easy to use and apply and seems to be holding up well.

Second update: Even heat couldn't keep the tape on so I have to retire the bag. The original finish was sort of sprayed on and if I could find something similar like that like a spray vinyl, that might work. In all other respects, the bag is in great shape and it's really nice bag. I don't want to let it go If I don't have to.First try: bought the tape to repair the black vinyl coating on a really nice gym bag that's old. The coating on the handles and trim gradually degraded and peeled off. As you can see it didn't stick. It's not sticky enough on malleable, curved surfaces. It started to come off in a few places after two uses. I'm going to try again with another product.Update: I bought the same tape later in a sheet roll, not realizing it was the same product. One of these reviews advised using heat and that's what I did this time. It sticks better that way. The original tape that I put it around the handles was wound around the handles so that worked a little bit better and it's still sticking for the most part.The second time I applied the vinyl to the side panels, in the first photo, I ironed it between two layers of material to apply heat. If I did it again I'd probably use my hair dryer. But it definitely looks better and it doesn't look like it's going to come off this week or even next week. So we'll see. And I still have quite a bit left over if I have to redo it.

Color off slightly from my chair but easy to apply and fits well to the chair surface. Good thickness should hold up well

Wonderful product!! Sectional in great shape, except the darn head rests. Check out the before and after collage--the pics speak for themselves. Great product!! Also pretty thick so I think it will last quite a while. Saved me thousands of dollars replacing the couch! Couldn't be more pleased

Purchased to repair a tear in my vinyl tonneau cover for my truck. After five months of being exposed to Michigan weather/elements and multiple car washes the patch is holding strong.Had an approximate 8 inch tear in my tonneau cover. Tried duct tape which last about 48 hours. Checked about using Gorilla tape, based on reviews the Gorilla tape would last a little longer than duct tape. All the vinyl repair kits I could find were not recommended for exterior use. Found this repair patch tape and from the description it sounded like it would work. Five months later the Leather Repair Patch Tape is holding with out problem. No water leaks and no lifting edges or corners. This repair tape is holding through car washes, rain, frost, snow, 90 degree sunny days, and 4 degree winter nights. Admittedly, the leather patch tape does not match the pattern of my vinyl tonneau cover or the exact finish, but I knew that going in. The tonneau cover and leather patch tape is black, so the colors match very close, not perfect but close.When installing the tape I followed the directions. Cleaned the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and waited about a half hour for the repair area to dry completely. I used the patching tape on the interior and exterior of the tonneau cover. After installing the patch I clamped the area between to boards and let the cover sit in the shade for 24 hours. The temperature on the day I installed the patch was around 75 degrees.I would recommend the Leather Repair Patch Tape. I am very happy with this product and the low price.
