Great exactly what I was hoping for but you MUST shape it before you wear it otherwise you’ll look like you’re wearing a sailor hat

I was looking for a military beret to wear with a 70's themed outfit and didn't want to break the bank. I found this little gem and I have to say that it was a good purchase. The overall costruction seems to be good and it fit as expected. Plus for the beret is that it does have two breathing holes included in the build which helped to allow my head to breath. That said I wore this for around half a day and for extended wearing your head is going to sweat so just understand that if you plan to be outdoors or very active.The beret also has to pull strings that allow you to pull the fit closer to your head in order to stay on and I would recommend that when you receive this product you give it a try. I also like that it has a built in square inside the beret that helps it to retain it's shape which was a nice touch. I was going for a 1970's Black Panther look for my outfit and considering that I received lots of compliments from older attendee's who were actual Black Panthers I feel I made a great buy.Full disclosure I am not a paid influencer or some cool online personality with a lot of social media followers. Just an average middle aged suburban dad living in the U.S. South. Now that you have all the information you need from this briefing. Atten-hut!!!

Beret came in exceptional quality; came ready to shave and form.

This is a well made beret with good quality materials and a nice feel, nice color. However, it is TOO SMALL for me. The description claims it is 61cm/24" but there's no way it's actually that large. For one thing, the actual tag on the beret says "60cm" and not 61, so that alone is misleading. I measured with tailor's tape and I have a 23.5" circumference head; in theory, a size 7 1/2 should be "snug but comfortable"; this beret is *tight* on my head, to the point of being in the "barely fits, uncomfortable." category, as well as the shape being distorted and funny looking. *and* distorting the shape.I suspect this product is intended for women or slightly built European men. If the goal was to discourage Americans from adopting the beret: mission accomplished.

After reading the reviews I was a little bit confused but I took the chance. And I am not disappointed. The size (true to size), the materials (fabric), the price, the shipping are all very good. All in all very good quality. I recommend it. Mine is white and in white it is hardly available across the internet.

Excellent baret for the money! Very similar to military issue. Highly reccomend!
