Teachers Flunked Sanity 101
Welcome back to Freida McFadden’s mind, where no one is safe—not even the teacher. 🍎🔪This book? UNHINGED in the best possible way. Just when I thought Freida couldn’t top herself after The Coworker and The Housemaid, she drops The Teacher—and my jaw, apparently, because I’m still picking it up off the floor.Twisted, smart, and impossible to put down, this story pulls you into the polished halls of a school where secrets hide behind every locker—and lesson plans come with a body count. 📚💀The pacing is chef’s kiss, the characters are layered like trauma onions, and the ending? Let’s just say… I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. 🫣Freida does it again—creepy, clever, and a little too real for comfort.🎓 It’s not just suspense, it’s a masterclass.🔪 Trust no one.📖 Just keep reading. You won’t regret it.#TheTeacher #FreidaMcFadden #BookReview #BookTok #5StarRead #PsychologicalThriller #ReadThisNow #PlotTwistQueen #DarkAcademiaVibes #ThrillerObsessed

Fast paced thriller read
This book was so fast paced to me. Great storyline build up and the WAIT WHAT factor was crazy. Definitely kept me guessing and was not expecting the ending at all. Overall, it was a good book. The thrill was engaging from start to finish, and kept me wanting more. It was hard to put down. This was my first book read by this author. Will have to check out so more of her books.

Lots of twists and turns, riveting
I cannot say enough praise for Freida McFadden. She is a Master in her crafts of writing books. This book is awesome. It has plenty of twists and turns with a surprise ending you've never seen coming. This book is well worth the money and your time reading. Buy it then sit back a enjoy the mental ride McFadden takes you on.

The "stupid" teacher
Initially, I enjoyed this book because its simple English made it easy for me to understand without relying on a dictionary, as English is not my mother language. However, as the story progressed to the middle, the plot took a dark turn. Nate, a teacher, became a villain who attempted to kill his wife, Eve, after she discovered his affair with Addie and threatened to expose him. Surprisingly, Eve is no saint either—she hooked up with a married man Jay, making her equally morally flawed. One aspect of the story that doesn’t make sense is Eve’s behavior. Even when facing death, she continues to threaten Nate, saying she’ll report his affair to the principal instead of begging Nate for saving her life in dangerous situation. It’s as if she’s saying, “Save me now! You will get reward by my reporting your affair....” This illogical reaction feels absurd and poorly written. The book’s title should be changed to "The Stupid Teacher" to reflect such foolish decisions. After this point, I lost interest in the story and skipped to the final chapter. To my surprise, Eve, the “stupid teacher,” survives, while Nate dies. This ending feels unfair and unsatisfying. I expected both of them, along with Jay, to face consequences and die as well.

An incredible read!
I liked the story, the narrative, and the plot. I did notice the attention to detail when I read. I noticed the pace and the sides of the people and their motives. I was confused at first. Then I caught on and Eve was definitely interesting as well as later in the story. I can't spoil it but my favorite part they're attitude that surprised every now and then.

Great plot that grabs you till the end
I am a huge Frieda McFadden fan ! Like the other McFadden books I've read, this one grabbed me from the first page and didn't let go. Just when you think you had it all figured out, the plot twist at the end throws you for a loop. It's great!

good read, but there is better
It took me a few days to get through this one. There wasn’t really any exciting twist and turns like other books I have read. The epilogue had a nice turn but again nothing exciting.
