Love it (17" SUV)
Was sceptical if this was going to be useful. We love it. Our parking garage is an exact fit for our vehicles. Any error in parking means the garage door will come down on our bumper. This has allowed us to park perfectly every time for the past 7 months, without thinking. We park a big Jeep Commander (17" wheels); no problem.

Four Stars
Definitely stops me from hitting my motorcycle that's parked in front of my car in my parking stall.

Won’t Stay In Place!!!!
Can’t make it stick! I’ve used the recommended double sided tape, added construction adhesive, then contact cement and finally screws, and after a couple times parking the car it has shifted forward. Now the screws have torn in and the floor is covered in glue.

Perfect Precise Parking Every Time
We got this parking mat when we got a new car that was 4 inches longer than the one we had parked on the shorter side of our garage. We needed precision parking, to say the least. The great thing about this mat is the bumps are right up against each side of your tire. There's no wiggle room to let you get it wrong. Also, the first bump is big enough so you can feel it, but small enough so you easily roll over it, rather than sit partly atop it. The second, stopper bump, is tall enough so the wheel stays up against it without any chance of rolling onto it. Also, because our garage floor is concrete, we definitely had to use the sticker on the bottom to keep it in place. So far, that sticker is working well. The mat hasn't moved.

Stop Right There - Every Time
This red parking aide was just what I needed to go with my laser pointer assist but it can do fine solo.I added this to give warning and a firm physical notch for garage parking just right every time.I have a big triangle wedge but it hits the very low front spoiler on a Civic Type R. This device gives you heads up your almost in the cradle it creates, providing a larger backstop to prevent going too far into your garage. Once you have the right position you just mark the spot, move car back out of the way and peel the adhesive strip covering (I added more DFT but not necessary). Clean the area at the corresponding floor spot well first with a non-residual cleaner like isopropyl alcohol, being sure no ignition source is nearby. Align, place on floor, press down, done. This aide makes me feel so comfy I’m locked in the right spot with manual transmission I sometimes forget to set the parking brake but do put it in gear, not an issue single floor is level. Two versions, I got the $1 less one as seemed most bumper friendly for my low slung sports car. Shipped fast, plastic wrapped with instruction, it’s a really good way to ensure consistent location while parking. The ceiling laser pointer I added makes sure both haven’t moved as I hit the front lip a few inches short of when laser points at my dash temp sensor.

Stays securely in place (if you do this)
As other reviews point out, nothing sticks to this material so it doesn't stay in place. But if you do as I did, it will stay bomb-proof secure for 4 years and counting (on a concrete garage floor).Clean the concrete well, using soap, rinsing several times, and mopping up with windex. If you have a lot of oil on your concrete, use triple-super-phosphate (TSP) instead of soap. It's sold for this purpose in hardware stores or as a fertilizer in garden stores. In any case, get all of the oil out of the concrete and rinse it well several times, then let it dry.Try parking on the mat in various locations until you find the right one, then mark that location on the concrete with a sharpie.Thread sturdy galvanized wire through each of the 4 holes long enough to make a 4- 6" loop. Place the mat on the sharpie marks and stretch out the wire loops flat so the mat is firmly in place. Use duct tape to tape the wire loops to the concrete. Tape the leading edge of the pad where the tire rolls over it as well. Don't mess around - use TREX or Gorilla duct tape instead of the usual 3M-clone crap. Walk all over the tape to press it firmly to the floor. If you cleaned the concrete well, this will last longer than your cars. At most, you may need to add another layer of tape every several years if it wears from use.

Well built.
Seems well built for its light weight. Only installed for a couple of days but seems to do the job. It moved about a 1/2 inch forward the first time I rolled up into it. Maybe needs more than the one wide strip of adhesive tape it comes with underneath it. I have a race deck floor so that may have something to do with it. It has screw holes but I don’t want to screw holes into the floor tiles.

This mat didn't stay in place for us; only a good idea if you have a long enough driveway & can pull straight into your garage.
This parking mat did not work for us. It moved around on our floor and didn't stay in place. That being said, we have about a 5 foot long driveway before you enter our garage from a thin alley so we often end up turning our wheels when we're already on the parking mat. We are turning when entering our garage. If someone has a long driveway and you can pull straight into your garage, it should work fine. Conclusion: this mat is only a good idea if you have a long enough driveway and can pull straight into your garage.

so glad we have these to be able to stop the car inside garage at exactly the correct place
love the color (red). so helpful to stop the car in the exact stop we need to park it in the garage. the bump you drive over is just high enough to know that you are driving over it and just low enough to really keep the tire within parameters. We didn;t really want to stick it to the garage floor but we did. They do move around over time so we do have to adjust them once a year or so . overall we love the product. they are holding up very well.

Not secure unless you want to screw it down
I purchased this to replace a standing stopper in the garage. It sort of does its job, but I'm almost ready to rip it up. I used the enclosed sticky tape to secure the parking marker to our garage floor. Over time, it shifts around. The stickers used to secure the stop to the floor turned into a gooey black mess, so even when I move it, it will probably leave a sticky mess behind that I will need to clean up. I wish I liked the product better, but I was disappointed with the purchase.

Bought as a gift for my mother who has bad eye sight
Bought as a gift for my mother who has bad eye sight, she says it helps a lot when parking and takes away the worry of hitting some of the boxes in the garage. looks a lot better than hanging a tennis ball off of string like a lot of people do.

What a life saver, specially if you have a short garage. Saves my rear bumper from garage door rash!
Oh where have you been all my life??!! Our builder thought it would be cute to make our garage fairly short so if you're not careful, SCRATCH goes the rear bumper as the garage door comes down..Doesn't make for a nice day. Every day I would have to drive in the garage, park, walk around the back to make sure I am clear. I was at a car wash and saw a display of a very similar product. I almost bought one but thought " I bet Amazon.com has a million different kind" so I waited and looked. I saw several of these types but like the fact this one is red so it is noticed on the floor when the car is not in the garage. I started with one to see how it works. What I did was pull my car in the garage to the proper place. I then sat this next to the tire, center at the bottom. I backed the car up, slid the unit in line of the tire and carefully pulled forward. The car goes up the little bump so you'll know you're almost there. I then put the car in neutral and let it settle and got out and checked. Not quite right so carefully backed the car up, moved the unit forward and tried again. Perfect! I used a sharpie to mark on each end for placement, then pulled the paper off of the adhesive. Boy that stuff STICKS. It's nice to not have to worry about if you are too far in, not far enough. I then ordered two more for the other two cars. They stay put. We've been using them for about a month and the adhesive keeps them in place
