Gladwin Bond Quality Hand Made Fedora Trilby Hat with Matching Band 100% Wool

I was happy with my green hat. My wife was decidedly unhappy about it. She is from China, and it turns out that in China the only time a man wears a green hat is to announce to the world that his wife is cheating on him. Well, I'm British and we are in UK so I have been wearing my hat out - and none of the neighbours have concluded that I am announcing any kind of emotional trauma to the world.My wife still isn't so happy and so she has taken to letting my 1-year old son play with my hat in the hopes that it will be 'accidentally' wrecked. Well my son now loves hats and it's pretty much the only word he knows at the moment - telling everyone "hat" and pointing at his head. When he grows up he will travel to China and wear a green hat like his father, and everyone will gaze at him in sorrow and silently shake their head in sympathy.

I have three of these hats in black,blue and green.. My head measures 58cm -a size that is notionally unavailable. I bought a size medium (57cm) hat and, at first, the fit is a little tight as you would expect. But wear the hat in the house for a few hours and as the felt softens a little the hat starts to fit perfectly. The quality is simply superb and the look is exactly what I wanted. I'd recommend these hats to anyone.

My second hat from this company, and as smart [and substantial] as the first one. I bought this to wear to my Mums Funeral on a cold early February day, as there’s a shortage of covering on top now. Was warm and , after stretching using a kids football , fitted well. Got lots of favourable comments tooI’d recommend it

Very pleased with the excellent quality of this hat. The fabric is undoubtedly of very good quality, the color is (obviously) much better in real than on the picture. It has been delivered way earlier than initially annouced. I found it slightly smaller than I expected ... but again, maybe my previous hats were slightly larger. Nothing critical anyway. Excellent value.

This hat is excellent for the money, in fact a real bargain. It's very difficult to buy a decent fedora on UK Main Street nowadays and a really good one will set you back five to ten times this price. I have worn hats for 35 years and bought most of them in France or Germany in recent years. London of course is bound to have a great selection. Outside of there, well....

One of the nice things about these felt fedora's is that they look really good, especially with a waistcoat, and are cosy. I now have several. At under £30 these are a great buy.
