I purchased the Hedgehog wall mount dryer for our kickboxing gear, mainly our boxing gloves. I have a cheapy single pair shoe/boot dryer that I thought would suffice, I was wrong. Even after 3 hours on the dryer the glove liners were still damp, it just doesn't push enough air out. I tried another brand dryer that could do two pair and it was okay, it still took about 5 hours to get the liners dry enough to spray disinfectant/deodorizer in the gloves, it also lacked in air output. I also wasn't a fan of not being able to control the heat output of the first two dryers I used, they pump out heat as soon as you turn it on, I'm also not a fan of the twist countdown timers and lastly I wanted something that could accommodate at least three pairs of gloves so I wouldn't have to waste so much time swapping gloves out. I came across the Hedgehog dryer and liked the wall mount option, there wasn't a lot of reviews on these dryers but what I did find all to be fairly positive. So, I figured I give one a shot, even though I wasn't excited about coughing up $165 for it. I am extremely pleased with the dryer so far, it has exactly what I was looking for as far as features and control options. It moves a lot of air for the size of the blower and dries are gloves completely in about an hour set at about 50% blower speed and 113F medium heat. It is nice that I can do all three pairs of gloves at the same time. I also like that there is a no heat option for this blower, which is nice when I spray the disinfectant/deodorizer into the gloves. I generally let the gloves air dry after spraying because heat can affect the effectiveness of certain disinfectants, but with this having a no heat option I am able to dry the gloves in about an hour, spray the inside of gloves and dry the disinfectant in about 30 minutes using the no heat setting. What was taking me about 6 hours or so to complete with three pairs of gloves, is not taking just over 1.5 hours. The time savings, less hassle and the overall performance of this blower makes it worth getting. I am a happy person with this product so far. Lets see how well it holds up and lasts. Lastly, it is also nice that the dryer is modular and you can purchase other accessories for it them to expand the number and type of items that you can dry at one time. Worth a look if you're looking for a pretty decent dryer.

I grew desperate to find a solution to getting snow gear dry with three kids. Gloves were wet for days even after being run through the dryer multiplied times. I bought this and have not looked back. We love this, my husband, who hates gadgets, is impressed. Leather work gloves, snow boots, rain boots, snow gloves, mittens, coats, back packs, all dry quickly. Love the multiple settings and ability to turn each pair of dryer posts on and off. Everyone who sees it comments that they want one. Worth the purchase.

Love this dryer! Works perfect for drying my kiddos soccer cleats and goalie gloves! Love that it has a cool air setting!It is a bid loud when turned up but I'll deal with it for a few hours for dry cleats!

Works as it should. Drys shoes quickly. Only complaint is that it feels cheaply made.

I saw this inadvertently when searching for something else. I was intrigued because my daughter is an athlete and we need to dry her sweaty shoes after every practice/game. Using the furnace vent can damage the shoe and using a fan takes forever, so I took a chance and bought this. Honestly, I was thinking it seemed gimmicky and didn't have high hopes (sorry!), but I was so wrong! This works amazingly. We use it nearly every day on my daughter's shoes and it dries them fast and thoroughly without damaging the shoe. We haven't had much snow yet this year, but we will also use it for gloves and snow boots when needed. We were a little worried about where to hang it, but we decided to get the one that doesn't attach to the wall. We purchased the one with the hanger and it's hanging on the rod in our laundry room. It seemed pricey at first, but it will save us money in the long run by prolonging the life of the tennis shoes. We have a ski vacation planned after the New Year and are planning to take it with us even! It is truly a great product!!

Great device for drying ski equipment at the end of the day. The ionic air option is great for reducing funky smells. Just make sure you crack a window, because that ozone is smelly and slightly toxic. Literally the only way to combat the smells though. Works a treat.

Works well, does what it says it'd do, and helps with keeping my boxing gloves and sneakers clean and dry! Moreover, the vendor is very responsive and helpful, and promptly addressed an issue I brought to their attention.I wish the spikes/arms were longer/extendable. But, as everything else in life, one cannot get everything they hope for!

It does dry things, eventually. Large shoes are hard to fit and made the bottom half detach during use. This would be okay for just kid shoes and gloves, and maybe even some toddler sized boots, but they get them WET in the snow. This... struggles with WET stuff. This was my first winter in an area with constant snow with kids old enough to need dry equipment and the gloves took hours to dry. Maybe I got a lemon, other people seem to love the ones they got... but I'm 100% underwhelmed, would not recommend, would not buy again, and am very disappointed. I tried to use this all last winter and was consistently frustrated with the length of time it took.2 stars because it was quality made and the interchangeable bottom half, maybe use the octopus attachment with the adult stuff and see if it helps. It also does work well with damp gloves.
