Review ------ I really like the selection of exercises on this DVD. It's good solid, cardio and weights. Jari does minimal cuing though, which is good if you plan to use this one a lot because you won't have to listen to the same repetitive instructions each time. BUT... learning the routine is a little unnerving for those of us who are perfectionists since it's impossible to be doing the right thing at the right time when you're learning the video. Fortunately, all the moves are really basic so you're not lost for too long. Example: at one point, Jari asks her co-exercisers, "what's next?" We, in DVD land, never hear the answer to this question. Instead we wait in bewilderment while the camera man (or is it a woman?) is staying with Jari's upper body. So we don't get to see the transition to the new move for a few reps. It's frustrating. Is it a al flaw? Probably not. Overall, I like the exercises on this DVD and I'm willing to deal with being in limbo for a few seconds during some transitions. It is a good workout. As many have said, it was thrown together in no logical order, a total mishmash of segments with uneven counts and bad curing...and gosh I have never done a workout where the cool down & stretch is in the middle. I don't even know what else to say except please don't waste your money on this workout! --jarilove.com The content of this workout is good; it works the whole body and can be made easier or harder based on the weight used. The ab section is a bit lame though. What I can't get past is Jari's boring delivery. To me, she is neither motivating nor energizing. Her delivery reminds me of a stereotypical self-affirmation tape. In fact if I wasn't working out, it might put me to . Her demeanor and voice are too subdued, which does not motivate me to push myself through a workout. She does not come across as energetic at all, in my opinion. I bought this DVD based on the comments I read here and was disappointed since most of the comments raved about Jari. --jarilove.com
