This is really nice but it seem dad is doing it. lol
Very well made but quite hard to do. Won't fall apart, that's for sure. I would buy another one.

Could've had better directions
Took about 5 hours to put together. Good for the value and the size was perfect.

Good project for kids
If you have a child that loves Metal Model Car Kits projects/toys then this model kit will make a good gift for them. It’s a good project for my son who is 7. So far he’s having no trouble putting it together. Its a good hands on activityEverything is included in the kit.He had no problems using the tools that come with the kit.It might not be easy for young children to do this project by themselves because of all the parts involved. The keep is metal and durable. My son loves building things and this is another project to add to his collection.

much too complicated for my grandson
My grandson was excited to receive this. Unfortunately, as soon as we opened the package and saw all the parts required and effort needed to put it together, we realized it was far beyond his capability. Actually, I, myself wouldn't even try to put it together.

Bad instructions
This was a Christmas gift for my brother, but unfortunately, he did not enjoy it because it did not come with assembly instructions. My dad put it together by looking at the picture on the box. Also, most of the pieces were not fitting like it should have. So, my dad had to improvise by bending pieces and drilling new holes to fasten pieces together. Overall, I was not pleased and I will not be purchasing this again.

Confusing instructions
I was disappointed that my 9 year old lost his enthusiasm about putting his together when we realized that the instructions were not clear--even somewhat confusing for an adult. Unless you plan to do this as a project with your child, I would suggest the appropriate age span start at around 12.

Difficult
More appropriate for a 10 or older kiddo. My 8 year old can't get it together like the fancy Lego builds.

Instructions don't help enough
My 11.5yo son, who worked long and hard on this, wrote the following review:When you are required to make two parts of this truck, the instructions only shows half, even when they are opposites. I did manage to complete it on my own, but it is floppy. I had fun building it, even though it is complicated. My advice is to screw the screws very tightly and it is a long process and it will take a lot of time to complete. I wish the manual showed more of the instructions.
