It is a good value for the money even though it is plastic it looks like metal, it is still very functional because it is a working watch and is the standard size for most pocket watches. It really tied together my husbands outfit for a ball we attended.

Looks just as advertised. However, I missed that it is a mechanical, manual windup, watch.I absolutely love this pleasant little surprise!While battery operated is convenient, there is nothing that beats the simplicity and nostalgia of a windup watch.
