Faulty Electric Wall Fire.
My daughter purchased this model of fire and it looks good, so I purchased the same model for my granddaughter BUT both models developed the same fault. The problem is after switching on the fire to give the nice flame effect after about 1/2 an hour it started to give a knocking/scrapping noise which became louder and louder the longer the fire was on and they had to switch off the fire. Is this a common fault on this model? Could this be a batch of faulty motors that drives the flame mechanism? (hope not) as I've asked for a replacement.

Great fire especially as comes with stand so no need to mount on a wall
Great fire and good that it can be on a stand rather than mounted on the wall. Bought for elderly person who absolutely loves it.
