I had a long look around for a replacement iPad charger prior to purchasing this one. For me, it was worth paying that little bit extra as well as looking at previous buyer's reviews. The product is very sturdy and the blue light looks reassuring when the iPad is charging. The time taken to charge is compatible with the one that came with the iPad. I am happy with this charger so far and I hope that I continue to be so.

Supposedly a FAST I-pad charger, but actually rather slow compared to original one that came with the phone - sadly broken after dropping on the floor. So merely adequate: works fine, but in my experience, can't truthfully call in fast!

This seems to be working OK albeit with a very bright blue light indicating it is connected. Concern for me is that when I first switched on my IPad stated that this was not an Apple approved product. The first full charge has been successful at a sedate pace.UPDATEWHAT TERRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Soon after posting the original review I received an email offering to replace free of charge , and no need to return original.New charger received, perfect working order.THANKS

Arrived very promptly and appears to work fine with my iPad. The plug itself is not as robust as the Apple original, but so long as it keeps on working I don't suppose it matters. Perhaps the clue is the "light weight" in the product description! A message pops up saying it is not Apple certified, but so long as it does the job ok it is better value for money.

It fits and is really excellent to use. It charges my Ipad Air 2 really fast. I would recommend others buy it.This is 100% worth the money

I purchased this charger due to it initially having a high rating of 4's and 5's so had high hopes for it. It did at first charge my iPad Air relatively quickly, however, it never worked when plugged into the USB of my desktop. A message popped up stating that this item was not certified and may not work properly. As it charged well from the mains adaptor, I intended to keep the item although I had some concerns about the charger getting quite hot fairly quickly. It worked well the second time but during the third charge, it started charging then stopping but it would work again when you unplugged it and replugged it in but only temporarily. It then stopped charging altogether after that and a message popped up stating this item may be unsupported. So for me, this has been an unreliable charger.

Tried many none Apple chargers in the past, becasue Apple are making it more difficult to use non Apple accessories on there devices them most don't work....This product does work and its a third of the price of the normal Apple Charger....just brilliant....Thank you!

I foolishly left my iPad charger in a hotel room and in a bit of a panic, phoned some stores and searched the Internet for a replacement. Being an Apple product I found they were either very expensive (one quote was over £30) or I would have to wait for delivery till Monday (4days). I was nervous about buying one not made by Apple but as this one could be delivered the next day I bought it. It was a good decision. It works perfectly, both charging and transferring information and photos to and from my laptop.When I plugged it in I had a message telling me it wasn't an Apple product and it probably wouldn't work. However, it does and I am delighted with it.It is now a couple of months later. The charger stopped charging or sometimes only charged intermittently. Then on the last time I tried I almost burned myself and the plastic on the end of the charger bubbled. Very dangerous. However, being Amazon I have been able to have a refund.
