After watching Little House on the Prairie for 50 years concerning lemon verbena, I bought one bar and then bought 5 more barsIt lathers just fine using a wash-rag. The smell is good and mild. It doesn’t leave soap scum in the shower like other brands.I’ll buy more

Soap has a lovely scent to it. This is a good, firm soap that doesn't get soft over time from sitting in a damp area. This seems to make the soap last a very long time.

Don't let the comparably low price of this soap fool you. It has a wonderful fragrance and it lathers well. The fragrance will linger pleasantly in the bathroom after you shower (it's a non-acidic sweet verbena). However, the fragrance will not linger on you! (I consider this a good thing with scented soaps) I've tried the verbena versions of two more expensive brands: Pre de Provence and L'Occitane. They were good quality soaps too, but quite pricey and I didn't like their fragrances as much as Yardley's Verbena. Also, this soap is MADE IN USA!

I was highly disappointed in this soap. Also, shocked as Yardley has always been a very fragrant soap. NOT this one. could not smell the lemon and only a hint of verbena.
