This was a fun find. I’m glad they made this. I like it for all of the reasons I put in the headline.

I've been an energy drinker for well over a decade. I don't drink coffee or soda anymore but I still want my caffeine kick. I used to buy 5 hour energy in bulk, then switched to Costco brand, but they were still more expensive than I wanted them to be. I tried X Mode about a year ago and I never looked back. The price is the best, and the effectiveness is arguably better than 5 Hour. Also, I somehow do not experience the acid reflux that 5 Hour gave me. I also like that I don't have so many plastic bottles to dispose of, and the taste is nice. I go through a box of X Mode about once a month, and I'm glad I found it.

Works well . Similar to 5 hr energy , but better. Good citrus taste. Work well. And NO SUGAR .

Overall I like this product quite a bit. It is definitely worth a try if you are someone who likes products such as 5 hour energy.I have bought 2 cases of this stuff so far and have had some fairly mixed results with it but overall I think it works well enough.Pros.Cheap! Approximately 60 cents per 2 ounce shot as opposed to around $3 for a 5 hour energyNoticeable increase in energy most of the time.When it works it really has a good effect.Refillable bottles makes carrying energy around with you a breeze.Measurements on the bottle make it easy to take precise doses.You can prolong the effects by taking a half bottle (1 ounce) a couple of times instead of the whole two ounce at once.Much milder taste than 5 hour energy.Cons.In my case at least, I get diminishing returns if I use it for several days straight. I get the strongest effect if I haven't used it in a few days.I also notice that sometimes it doesn't work as well if I am already really tired or exhausted. The best result seems to be when you take it before getting to that point.The only thing really keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the inconsistent results I have with it. When it works it is great, but it sucks when you need some extra energy and you don't get the effect you were looking for. This product is best for those who only need an energy boost occasionally as it seems to not work as well if you have been using it regularly. This could just be me though.Though it could also be mentioned that after taking it I seem to have slightly higher energy levels overall for the next day or two, so it may take awhile to get through your system.The main point is that it does work and you will know it as there is a very noticeable increase in energy. I also have not noticed any negative side effects while using it such as jittery hands or anything. The first couple times I used it I got a mild headache but that could easily have been due to something else and not related to the energy shots.

Back about 25 years ago there was some items on the market that was using ephedrine and, that worked for me back then but ever since they made it illegal, I have not found any thing that has giving me a noticeable boost of energy until I purchased this. From day one when my first package came in and I tested this energy shot I noticed right away that my heart rate had gone up and it gave me a very substantial boost of energy. I haven't felt a bump of energy like that since the no-dose ephedrine was on the market. I have tried pretty much every single energy drink and energy shot on the market and none of it even comes close to the amount of energy I receive when I take one of these shots. This is now my fifth package of these because they do really work. I normally only get between four and four and a half hours of sleep per night and I have gotten used to just that little bit of sleep so now when I get less than that four or four and a half hours I'm real sluggish but if I get more than the four four and a half hours of sleep my body aches all over. Now if I only get 3 hours of sleep I just do one of these energy shots and it increases my energy tenfold. If I sleep more than four and a half hours I take stuff that helps with the aches and pains but I take a shot of this and again my energy gets boosted. On the days I sleep more than four and a half hours I really don't need that extra energy boost but it is very nice especially when you're in your 40s. This increases my energy so much it makes me feel like I'm 20 years younger. Seriously this is a really good product and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you go without it being in your pantry.

Flavor beats 5hr energy and other brands, but ingredients are also 50% or more lower than other brands so price is deceiving as your only getting 33-50 servings depending which other brand your comparing too, but if you can't stand the flavor of the real 5hr energies like me. This is a viable option. Kroger brand per OZ is cheaper with more ingredients so if your trying to save money this is truly going to cost you roughly same price but I do believe taste is much better and only reason I continue purchasing boxes. Watermelon cherry and apple that I don't see any more but if your OK with the other brands flavors. I personally believe it's best to stay with those brands as your getting higher volume of ingredients than with these.

These are awesome, I’ve bought this 5 or 7 times, I love having energy “on tap”.I just keep this in our pantry and it’s easy to access, no more trips to the convenience for 5 hours of expensive stuff.
