I got the Defender Luna personal attack alarm for my mum, and while it's pretty loud, it's not quite the 125dB as advertised. The strobe LED light is a nice feature and could be useful in certain situations, though it’s not particularly bright. The alarm is loud enough to grab attention in an emergency, but I found that if you cover it with your fist, the sound becomes barely audible. I think it would be most effective to use it and then throw it away in case of an attack, so the attacker can't interfere with the alarm. Overall, it's a decent safety tool but not as powerful as I hoped.

Works as stated, but not very loud & too sensitive
This works as stated- pull the pin and sound plays with flashing light. However, alarm sometimes goes off when pin has not been pulled and it is not very loud. I don't think I'd trust this to get someone's attention who is more than a couple feet away in an emergency.

Cheap and poor quality - do not recommend
Cheap materials, not very robust. The alarm is too sensitive and triggers randomly without anyone being within 5metres of it. Spend a bit more to get a better quality item.
