To breastfeed, use the upper portion of the nursing clip and make sure your fingers are under both layers (lace/mesh and spandex/nylon) of the bra. When accessing the pumping panel to pump use the lower portion of the clip. To open the lower portion of the clip your fingers should go between the layers (under the lace/mesh outer layer and on top of the spandex/nylon pumping panel layer)
