Sometimes you actually find exactly what you are looking for and that is the case here. I was looking to dampen the sound coming from an adjacent room while leaving the doorway open (no door installed). This did the trick. It is easy to hang/install and covered the entire doorway as I hoped it would. I actually used some small coat hooks to hang it slightly above my doorway. The grommets were large enough to fit over the hook ends easily so now my curtain is easy to hang and remove as needed. This is a thick cotton curtain (more like a blanket) that will stay in place and do its job. I'm glad I found it.

Not very nice looking. Was hoping for a little sound proofing, but didn’t work.

It looks very nice, and easy to put up, but not very sound proof.
